J3 STORAGE UNIT OPENING HOURS

Storage customers at the rear of Maypole Fields, need to be aware that we have been unable to change the time-clock on the rollershutter to move forward one hour. Therefore currently the rear J3 storage units are open from 8.00am to 8.00pm, and not 7-7 as previous. Our apologies. We are trying to rectify this situation, but it is difficult as our supplier is isolating at the moment.

BUSINESS RATES GRANT FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Dudley bsuiness rates department have now issued an on-line portal to claim your business rates grant of £10K. This is only available to customers who are currently registered with the business rates office and are in receipt of small business rates relief.

COVID-19 Information

We are all concerned about the implications of Covid-19.  Below are the actions we at Cradley Enterprise Centre have taken to-date. However, this is a rapidly changing situation and we need to work together to ensure we can all get through this.

HEALTH & VIRUS CONTROL

With immediately effect the main office is reduced to just one staff member per day, to reduce personal interactions. This means that although our postal service will still operate as normal, but we may be a little slower in responding to emails, etc. We will not be signing for parcels, just giving a name.

We are trying to stop anyone from entering the reception office, and have installed a speaker system to reduce contact thru the reception window.

The maintenance team have been asked to stay home and will be on-call for emergencies only. Small fixes will need to wait until this crisis has abated.

Things we need for you to do please:

  1. The reception desk has HAND SANTISER available for all visitors. Please ask your visitors and staff to ensure they use this hand sanitizer or wash their hands ON ARRIVAL at the centre, and preferably also when they leave.
  2. As we have reduced staffing, we cannot be constantly opening the door for people who cant be bothered to use their keys. Please ask your staff to use their keys or call your buzzer and not ours.
  3. The government are offering assistance for micro/small businesses. We are trying to keep abreast of this information on your behalf, but please check out what you may be eligible for on https://www.gov.uk/governemnt/news/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-for-employees-employers-and-businesses.
  4. Please ensure all your staff are aware that as the kitchen and toilets are shared spaces, they must be extra vigilent in these areas. Wash hands – don’t leave items out for others to move, etc.
  5. RUBBISH – we have limited staff to clean up and remove rubbish, so please ensure that you take rubbish away – in particular do not leave food or drink rubbish that may sit around for a day or two and attract vermin.

Fixed Electrical Survey requires unit access

A Fixed Electrical Survey is being carried out at Cradley Enterprise Centre over the next week or two.

Please note that during this time, the engineer - Chris from Viking Electrics - will require access to each unit on-site at Cradley 1 and 2 in order to carry out necessary checks to wiring, etc.

PLANNED MAINTENANCE WORK MON 22nd JAN

Western Power Distribution will soon be carrying out planned maintenance work on the road here at Cradley Enterprise Centre.

On Monday 22nd January, the power will be shut down to Cradley 1 - and possibly Cradley 2 - between 6:00pm-11:00pm. Therefore, we kindly ask that all residents ensure their computers/servers are shut down prior to this time.

GUTTER WORKS START MONDAY 6TH NOVEMBER

Works to the gutters on Cradley site 1 will be starting in earnest next Monday.

We are currently unsure about the extent, but we are expecting there to be some noise whilst sheets are cut back.

There will also be a forklift operating on and around the site moving materials, so please be aware vehicles may need to be moved at short notice during this time.

Apologies for any disruption whilst these improvements are in progress - please bear with us.

ONGOING INVESTMENT = FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS

Continuing our ongoing investment at Cradley Enterprise Centre, site 1 will be having many of its aging and failing gutters cleaned and re-lined at the end of October and through November.

Initial works will commence on the four long gutters from the top of Unit A (down to and including the main office area) and back from the front of the property to the rear.  During this time, scaffolding will be in place on the main site to ensure easy access to the roof areas.

Scaffolders will be assessing the site layout shortly to ensure we can keep clear access to units and keep disruption to a minimum. However, car parking spaces will be reduced whilst the work is in progress. Definite dates for the start of the works will be announced shortly.

CAR PARK IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETE

The makeover is complete for the car parks on both Cradley 1 and Cradley 2 sites, as the lines and parking bay markings were finished on Monday 18th September.

We hope the improvements made so far make for a better experience here at Cradley Enterprise Centre and we would again like to thank our residents and visitors for their patience throughout the works over recent months.

CAR PARKS UPGRADE MONDAY 18TH SEPT

We will be re-lining the car parks of Cradley 1 and Cradley 2 on Monday morning next, between 8.00-10.00am. There will be disruption to parking during these hours so please bear with us.

Parking will be available at the rear of Cradley 2 (against the fence) and road parking, and we will release parking bays as they are complete.
